From bars to tailgates, a sports fan can be found in many different places on game days. At first thought, these various environments for football, baseball and basketball enthusiasts might seem completely different and random — but they’re actually quite similar. These settings may be dissimilar due to the amount of people, food selection and location but when you add up all of their similarities you find that there are only a few places to meet sports fans. There quite a few cities that you can visit, and here are only a few.
Philadelphia
Philadelphia is definitely a city for sports fans. The city is home to four professional sports teams: the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers. These teams have won many championships over their long histories, including multiple Super Bowls, World Series wins, and NBA titles. It’s no surprise that the city has been called “the Cradle of Liberty.” The city also has two college sports teams: the Temple Owls and Villanova Wildcats. Both schools have had great success in their history, with both men’s and women’s basketball teams winning national championships in recent years. For example, when Villanova beat Michigan in 2016 to win their first NCAA title since 1985, more than 100,000 people packed into downtown Philly to celebrate—and it was estimated that over a million people were watching at home! Los Angeles
Los Angeles is a city known for its entertainment, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad place to be a sports fan. In fact, Los Angeles is one of the best cities to watch your favorite teams in action. Here are some reasons why Los Angeles is such a great city for sports fans:

The Celtics are one of the most storied franchises in NBA history, with 17 championship banners on display at the TD Garden.
The team’s current roster is led by Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, who have helped lead the Celtics to two straight Eastern Conference Finals appearances.
Boston also has two other teams in the MLB (Red Sox) and NHL (Bruins).
